Michael Paik had a storied career in corporate America before deciding to become an attorney. Before law school Michael was an HR professional, serving Fortune 500 corporations such as Microsoft and IBM, then pivoting into startups and small businesses in King County, WA as an HR Generalist. He took that experience into his legal career in Portland, Oregon providing representation in a range of business matters, especially in labor & employment law. Michael holds a Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, OR and obtained a Master's Degree in Human Resources & Industrial Relations from University of Illinois.  Additionally, he triple majored by earning his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business and simultaneously received a second Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Political Science. Finally, aside from Michael's civil litigation work, he is an experienced criminal defense trial attorney providing representation for employers that are entangled in a criminal allegation because of rogue employment disputes.
